Bentonville, Arkansas—Anderson Merchandisers was awarded the Walmart Services Excellence Award for 2019. The award recognizes Anderson’s excellent performance and support to Walmart customers and store associates, including responses to critical issues that have immediate customer impact in Walmart stores.
In Q3 and Q4 2018, Anderson validated the accuracy of every 4 foot section in 4,671 Walmart stores during some of the busiest times of the year. This allowed Walmart to map out their stores, enabling store managers to have a real-time view of exactly where they had discrepancies in their stores. The mapping and reporting Anderson created was critical to the newly-launched Walmart app, which receives over 800,000 views every day. On Black Friday alone, the Walmart app received 1.4M views and Anderson’s reporting made it all possible.
